November Challenge at UnstampaBelles - Anything with Flowers

The UnstampaBelles November challenge is Anything Goes with the twist of Flower(s). Remember: no stamps! Some of our team have incorporated the theme of Remembrance, as this month marks 100 years since WWI. I incorporated poppies (the Californian variety!) & a line from an early poem by Wilfred Owen, my favorite war poet.

This was all made with the same white shiny paper. The die cut is the Poppy Corner from Memory Box. I inked the backing paper with yellow & orange inks, and used more orange ink for the poppies. I printed the poem excerpt directly onto the dried, inked paper. I cut the corners with scalloped scissors & inked the edge with a black Copic marker. I added black & yellow-gold rhinestones.

Inspiration/Challenges:

One Stitch At A Time #249: Anything Goes with The Dead/ Remembrance Sunday
